Firefighter/Paramedic Lepselter dedicated 19 years of his life to serving the people of Broward County with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment. He began his career in January 2007 with BSO’s Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services and quickly became known for his professionalism and tireless work ethic. Over the years, he contributed his expertise across several specialized divisions, including Airport operations, Seaport services, Hazardous Materials (HazMat), Air Rescue, and the Training Division.
Among his many roles, his work in the Training Division stood out as particularly impactful. Stephen was deeply passionate about mentoring and guiding the next generation of firefighter/paramedics, sharing not only his knowledge but also his values of integrity, discipline, and service. He was a respected leader and teacher, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to learn from him.
